
Dr. Christopher and Dr. Julia Kim, the co-founders of the International Cultural and Educational Foundation (ICEF) were born in South Korea and came to the U.S. in 1992. Since their marriage in 1970, as they have worked for more than 38 years in Asia, witnessing the extreme difficulty of poverty-stricken people, they determined to find solutions towards improving the lifestyle of those who are suffering. Thus, ICEF was born with the mission to address these problems by encouraging all sectors of the society to participate in worldwide educational and humanitarian projects aimed at establishing peace and sustainable development.
Currently they serve as Co-Chairperson of the Universal Peace Federation for North America. As a couple, they have garnered remarkable achievements, and most importantly, impacted the lives of millions of people in many countries through their various fields of work.

Dr. Christopher Kim received a Bachelor Degree of Arts from Young Nam University, South Korea; Master Degree in Religious Education from the Unification Theological Seminary, New York, U.S.A.; PhD. in Philosophy from Sun Moon University in Seoul, Korea and in Educational Management from De La Salle University, Philippines. Dr. Julia Kim has a Masters degree in Religious Education and received Honorary Doctorate Degree from Lyceum University, Philippines.
